Sometimes the service terminal has issues connecting to our server. It commonly occurs because of lost connection to the internet.
The service terminal can use a long time connecting to the internet at booting which can end in a timeout before it tries to connect to the internet again.
The common solutions are either restarting the PC (the service terminal) by pressing on the power button in the right side of the terminal or unplug the power cable. Always shut down the PC before unplugging the power cable, it may cause damage to the service terminal.
If the issue continues to persist after trying the following solutions, the client needs to be shut down by clicking on the x-marker in the top-right corner of the service terminal.
Next, the FrontDesk client needs to be reopened by clicking on FrontDesk Reception in the left side of the desktop.
If there's internet connection, the client should be able to contact the server and boot the service terminal correctly.
If any issues persist always contact your IT-department first to ensure no problems with the internet connection.
